Russell Young

Russell Young is a British-American artist best known for large silkscreen paintings using imagery drawn from recent history and popular culture. Born in Yorkshire, Young first got his break by photographing George Micheal. Since then, he has built a name for himself with his celebrity pop culture screenprints - capturing what it means to be famous and reach icon status.   Young’s works have been exhibited globally, including at the Modern Art Museum Shanghai and the Multimedia Art Museum Moscow.
